How to use it

Light the tip, let it flame for a few seconds, then blow it out so it smolders.

Hold it over a heat-proof dish the whole time and carry the dish with you.

Work corners first, then doorways and windows, then the threshold last. Starting at the corners moves what you are clearing toward an exit.

Open a window during and after. Smoke in a sealed room is a respiratory problem regardless of what is burning.

Can I use it if someone in the house has asthma?
We would not. Smoke is a respiratory irritant, and this is not suitable around asthma, small children, or birds. A cleansing mist does the same job without smoke.
