Refund policy

We want you to be genuinely glad you ordered from us. If something is not right, tell us and we will make it right.
Physical products — 30-day returns
You may return most unused physical items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price. Items must be in their original condition and packaging, unused and resalable.
To start a return, email 28@templeofdesire.com with your order number and a short note about the item. We will reply with return instructions and the correct return address. Please do not send anything back before you hear from us — our products ship from several partner warehouses, and the right address depends on the item.
Return shipping
If the item arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we pay the return shipping and you receive a full refund including the original shipping cost. For all other returns, the cost of return shipping is yours.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and has been inspected, we issue the refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few additional days to post it.
Items that cannot be returned
- Products that have been used, burned, opened or altered — including incense, candles, herbs, teas, oils and other consumables once opened, for hygiene and safety reasons
- Personal care and body products once opened
- Items marked as final sale at the time of purchase
- Gift cards
Personal ritual services
The Personal Ritual, Made to Measure and Ritual by a Master's Hand are custom services created for one person and one situation.
- Before work begins: you can cancel for a full refund at any time before Leif Daniel starts writing or performing your ritual. Just email us.
- After work begins: because the ritual is written or performed specifically for you and cannot be resold or reused, the fee is non-refundable once the work has started. This is stated here, before you buy, on purpose.
- No outcome is guaranteed. We do not promise specific results, and a refund cannot be requested on the grounds that a desired outcome did not occur. What we owe you is the work itself, done with full attention and documented honestly.
Damaged or missing items
Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo where possible, and we will replace the item or refund it. Photos help us claim against the carrier, but we will not leave you with a broken item either way.
Order cancellations
If you need to cancel, email us as soon as possible. We can usually stop an order before it ships. Once it has shipped, the return process above applies.
