At a glance
-
Golden yellow glass, with warm amber depth and flashes of gold
-
Oxidized silver finish on a thick band
-
Oversized oval face in a tall setting
-
Wide band — weight distributed rather than concentrated
- Nickel-free and hypoallergenic
How to use it
-
One statement ring per hand. At this scale the fingers on either side are part of the design.
-
Wear it on the hand you gesture with. Faceted glass only earns its color in motion.
-
Off for manual work. Tall settings catch on pockets, sleeves and door handles.
-
Off before hand-washing. Soap collects beneath a tall setting and dulls the stone from underneath.
-
Store it in its own compartment so nothing harder rests against the face.

✨ Temple Tip — warm stone on cold metal is the harder combination
Golden glass in a gold setting is the obvious choice and the flatter one — everything reads as one tone. Set against oxidized silver the amber has something to push against, which is why this version holds up in daylight where the all-gold reading of the same idea tends to go muddy.
If this scale is more than you want on the hand, the Mini Oval Colossus Ring is the same shape held back. Both sit in Rings & Earrings.
Questions we get asked
Is the stone glass or crystal?
Faceted glass, not gemstone — the maker says so plainly. Glass is what allows color this saturated and this even; a natural stone in the same tone would cost several times as much and read cloudier.
What sizes are available?
Size options appear on this page. If your size is not listed it is not currently in stock.
Is it comfortable to wear all day?
The band is wide, which spreads the weight better than a thin one would. It is comfortable seated and awkward for anything requiring your hands.
Does the oxidized finish wear?
It softens with contact over time. Perfume, chlorine and household cleaners accelerate it — remove the ring before they get near it.
How is it different from the Square Goliath ring?
Same scale and construction. The Colossus has a rounded oval face that reads softer and more liquid; the Goliath is squared and reads architectural.
Care & wear: Store dry and away from direct light. Keep away from perfume, hairspray, chlorine and household cleaners — plating and oxidized finishes are surface treatments and will wear with contact. Clean with a soft dry cloth only. Nickel-free and hypoallergenic as supplied by the maker. An adornment and a ritual object — no outcome is promised. Stone and crystal associations described here are traditions of association, not claims of physical or psychological effect, and nothing here is medical advice.
