A long chain with a front closure gives you two ways to wear one necklace: full length with the toggle centred, or doubled with the toggle sitting off to one side. Neither requires a second piece of jewelry, which is more than most necklaces at this length can claim.
Questions we get asked
Is the stone glass or crystal?
Faceted glass, not gemstone — the maker states this plainly rather than dressing it up. Glass is what allows color this saturated and this consistent; a natural stone in the same tone would cost several times as much and be cloudier for it.
How long is the chain?
The maker specifies a long chain without stating an exact measurement, and we do not invent numbers. If precise length matters for layering, ask before ordering.
Does the toggle come undone?
Toggles are secure under normal wear but are the least secure closure type by design. Give the bar a check when you put it on and avoid pulling the chain over your head.
Can I wear it with the Slink Y-Chain?
Yes, and they were built for it — one long drop and one Y-drop at staggered lengths reads deliberately rather than accidentally.
Will the oxidized finish wear off?
It softens with time and contact. Perfume, chlorine and cleaners accelerate it — put the necklace on last and take it off first.
