Sixteen inches of hand-selected goat head stretched over a Siam Oak frame, and the Flower of Life drawn across it. Struck once, it gives a warm, deep tone that keeps opening after the hand has left the skin.
The Flower of Life is one of the oldest patterns we have — overlapping circles standing for the geometry underneath everything — and on a drum head it does something practical as well as symbolic: it gives the eye somewhere to rest while the ear does the work. The oak frame keeps the whole instrument light enough to hold through a long session.
At a glance
- 16" frame drum
- Hand-selected goat head for warmth and tonal richness
- Lightweight Siam Oak frame with a comfortable grip
- Flower of Life sacred geometry design
- Warm, rich, deeply resonating tone
- Built for meditation and sound healing practice
How to use it
Hold it by the frame with a relaxed hand and strike near the edge for a higher, tighter voice, or toward the centre for the deep tone the goat head is chosen for. Let the drum ring out fully before the next stroke — the space between beats is most of the instrument.
In a sound bath, a frame drum this size carries a room without a stand. Walk it slowly around a seated circle and the tone changes for every listener as you move, which no fixed instrument can do.
Natural skin responds to humidity. In a dry room the head tightens and the pitch rises; in damp it slackens and goes flat. Store it away from radiators and direct sun and let it acclimatise before you play.

✨ Temple Tip
Warm the head with your palm for a minute before you play in a cold room. A natural skin that has come up to hand temperature speaks more evenly, and the first strike of a session is the one everybody remembers.
Frequently asked questions
What size is the drum?
16 inches in diameter.
What is the head made of?
A hand-selected goat head, chosen to enhance warmth and tonal richness.
What is the frame made of?
Lightweight Siam Oak, shaped for a comfortable grip during extended playing sessions.
What does the Flower of Life symbol mean?
It is an ancient symbol representing universal patterns of creation and sacred geometry. Here it is applied as the drum's design.
How should I store it?
