How to use it

Lower the bell fully over the flame and hold it for two seconds. Lift straight up. The flame goes out from lack of oxygen rather than from being blown across the wax.

Wipe the brass with a dry cloth. If it dulls, a brass polish brings it back — or leave it to darken, which many prefer.
