Butterflies at full saturation — wings, a leopard's face and gold fan shapes layered into a single image — printed against a distressed dark ground and set in a black beaded frame.

The butterfly is the oldest visual shorthand for transformation there is, which is why it keeps reappearing in rooms where people are working on something. Here it arrives loud and layered rather than as a quiet motif.

At a glance

  • Multi-butterfly print in vibrant color, with a leopard motif
  • Distressed black background
  • Black beaded decorative frame
  • Framed and ready to hang
  • Suits gallery walls and single-piece placements

How to use it

Hang it at eye level. A dark-ground print needs light on it — a picture light or a lamp nearby, otherwise the color disappears into the black.

Dust the frame with a soft brush. Clean the glass with a cloth sprayed off the artwork, never sprayed directly at it.

✨ Temple Tip

Dark-ground artwork does not belong on a dark wall. On pale plaster or a warm neutral it reads as a jewel; on a charcoal wall it vanishes and you have spent money on a rectangle.

In short

This is a framed decorative wall print: a layered butterfly image with a leopard motif and gold fan shapes, printed on a distressed dark ground and set in a black beaded frame. It arrives framed and ready to hang, and works either within a gallery wall or on its own at eye level. Because the ground is dark, it needs light on it and a pale or warm neutral wall behind it rather than a dark one. It costs $184.95. It is a decorative art print produced for framing, not an original artwork, and exact dimensions are given in the product specification.
