The Eve holder is built for that moment — a handcrafted stoneware pebble, weighty in the palm, low and rounded so it settles anywhere without asking for attention.

Each piece is thrown and glazed by hand in Wisconsin, which means the finishes run from vibrant blood orange to earthy sand tones and no two land exactly alike. At three inches across it disappears politely on an altar, a windowsill, a desk corner — until you look at it properly.

How to use it

  1. Set it on a stable, heat-tolerant surface — stone, wood or tile, away from curtains and anything that drifts.
  2. Seat the stick in the holder — angled into the slot on the smooth glazes, upright through the center hole on the Gloopy ones.
  3. Stay in the room while it burns. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it clear of children and pets.
  4. Let the ash cool completely, then tip it out and wipe the glaze with a damp cloth.

Ten glaze options are offered: the six matte and solid finishes are $34.95, and the four Gloopy glazes are $51.95. Because it is hand-glazed, color and surface vary from piece to piece, and the low 3-inch dish is sized for sticks and small cones rather than large resin burners.
