In short
The Kira Small Glass Cups are a set of four small glass cups in a bud-like form with a wave-shaped rim. Each measures 4.5 cm high by 6.5 cm wide (about 1.75" x 2.5"), a deliberately small volume for slow pours. They are used for tea ceremony, sake, ceremonial cacao and small measures of spirits. The set costs $86.95. The rim is thin, so hand washing is safer than a dishwasher, and warming the glass with hot water before pouring anything hot is advised — thin glass and boiling liquid do not combine well from cold.
