How to use it

Trim the hemp wick to 1/4 inch before every lighting. Untrimmed hemp is the single most common reason a clean candle starts to smoke.

Let the first burn go long enough to melt a full pool of wax right out to the glass. Wax has a memory; the first burn sets the tunnel for every burn after it.

Set the intention as you light it — the affirmation on this candle is I trust the process and go with the flow. Say it once, out loud, and let the flame hold it.

Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and debris.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from anything that can catch, out of reach of children and pets.

Keep the crystals when the wax is gone. Wash the tumbler, keep the stones on your altar or in a pocket, and reuse the glass.

A crystal candle is not a background object. Give it one uninterrupted hour rather than six interrupted minutes — long enough for a full melt pool, long enough for you to actually settle. The wax will thank you for it, and so will your practice.
Questions we get asked
Is this candle scented?
No. It is deliberately unscented — no fragrance oils, no dyes, no paraffin. What you smell is clean-burning wax and nothing else, which is exactly what you want if scent competes with your practice or if fragrance bothers you.
What are the two crystal options?
Crescent Moon or Full Moon. The arrangement of rainbow moonstone on top of the candle differs; both versions include the full-moon-charged Arkansas clear quartz point.
How long does it burn?
Up to 60 hours from the 7.5 oz vessel, depending on how long your sittings are and whether you trim the wick.
Do the crystals burn or melt?
They sit on the surface of the wax. As the pool forms they settle in and can be lifted out once the candle has cooled, or left in place and kept when the candle is finished.
What happens to the crystals afterwards?
They are yours. Wash the lead-free glass tumbler out and keep the stones — most people put them on an altar, in a windowsill, or in a pocket.
