Are the stones genuine?
The tiger eye, smoky quartz and labradorite are genuine. The muted yellow and violet accents are glass, and the maker states this plainly.
Why domed instead of faceted?
A dome pools color across a curved surface rather than throwing light back in points. It reads deeper and quieter — closer to a stone, further from a gem.
Does labradorite really flash like that?
Yes — labradorescence is a genuine optical property of the stone, caused by light refracting between internal layers. It appears at some angles and vanishes at others.
Can I layer it?
It works as the loudest piece in a stack, with plain chain above and below. Do not pair it with a second stone-heavy necklace.
