How to use it
- Hold it in your palm for a moment before you do anything else, and simply notice how it feels.
- Set an intention — a word, a sentence, a wish. Say it out loud if that feels right.
- Carry it in a pocket, keep it on your desk, or place it beside your bed where you will see it.
- Bring it into meditation: hold it loosely, let your thumb rest on the surface, and breathe.
- Cleanse it now and then in the smoke of a smudge bundle or beside a piece of Selenite.

Put your Selenite in a shallow dish and let it be the place your rings, pendants, and pocket stones go at the end of the day. It cleanses everything it touches and never needs cleansing itself. Just keep the dish away from the sink — Selenite and water do not get along.

Can Selenite go in water?
No. Selenite is water-soluble and contact with moisture will damage the surface. Keep it dry and cleanse it with smoke or intention.
How do I use it to cleanse other crystals?
Lay your other stones and jewelry beside it or on top of it, ideally overnight. Selenite clears the energy of what sits near it.
How does Selenite form?
It is a variety of gypsum — calcium sulfate dihydrate — that forms in evaporite deposits when ancient seas or lakes evaporate.
Will my stone look exactly like the photo?
Each piece is hand-selected with care and intention by one of our Crystal Caretakers. You will receive ONE (1) piece, chosen for you — similar in size and energy to what is pictured, but naturally its own in color and patterning.
