How to use it
- Light the end of the bundle with the fewest stems and let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so it smolders.
- Waft the smoke with your hand or a feather, or rest the bundle on a heat-resistant surface such as an abalone shell.
- Move through the room clockwise, paying attention to corners, doorways, and any space that feels heavy.
- Open a window so the smoke — and whatever it carries — has somewhere to go.
- Press the lit end out completely in sand or a shell. Never leave a smoldering bundle unattended.

✨ Temple Tip — this bundle is two-thirds of a ceremony
Sweetgrass calls in, sage clears — which means you are one step from the full triad. Keep a Palo Santo stick beside it and light that last to raise the vibration. Three minutes, three steps, and the room is genuinely different.
Questions we get asked
Why combine sweetgrass and sage?
Sweetgrass calls the energies forth and sage clears and cleanses them. Together they do two steps of the traditional smudging ceremony in one bundle, with a gentler feeling than sage alone.
Is the sage organic?
Yes — this bundle uses organic white sage.
What is the third step?
Palo Santo. In the traditional triad, sweetgrass invites, white sage purifies, and Palo Santo raises the vibration to close the ceremony.
Where does your white sage come from?
Never harvest white sage from national parks or Native land — it is not ours to take. Our sage is farm-grown in sustainable ways on a farm in Mexico.
Is this a health or medical product?
No. Our crystal and herbal products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and nothing here has been evaluated by the FDA. They are ritual and spiritual tools. Please consult a healthcare professional for medical questions, and speak with one before using herbal products if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.
