In short
The Wood Leaf Trays are serving trays hand-carved into a leaf silhouette from granadillo, a dense tropical hardwood sustainably harvested in the Peten region of Guatemala, where they are made by local artisans. They are used on a coffee or dining table for dry foods such as bread, fruit and nuts, or as a landing place for keys, candles and small objects. Prices run from $126.95 to $243.95 depending on the option chosen. They are for dry serving only: hardwood should never be soaked or put in a dishwasher, and occasional food-safe oil keeps the grain from drying out. Grain and shape differ on every tray.
