This is not chocolate. It is ceremonial-grade cacao pressed into bar form — cold-processed, never alkalized, stone-ground and handled as little as possible, so what reaches you is closer to the bean than to confectionery.

Three ingredients. Smooth and grounding, with rich fudge notes, a subtle toasted nuttiness and a clean mineral finish. Made in Austin, Texas, from cacao sourced from regenerative small farms and lab-tested batch by batch.

At a glance

  • 2 oz (56 g) bar, 2 servings
  • Three ingredients only: ceremonial raw cacao paste, organic panela (raw cane sugar), organic cacao butter
  • Cold-processed and never alkalized, stone-ground and minimally handled
  • Lab-tested for purity and low heavy metals
  • Sourced from regenerative small farms; made in Austin, Texas
  • Vegan, gluten-free, soy-free
  • Not in here: refined sugar, sugar alcohols, erythritol, soy, gluten, palm oil, lecithins, emulsifiers
  • Per 28 g serving: 180 calories, 14 g fat, 10 g carbohydrate, 5 g sugar, 3 g protein

How to use it

  • Eat it slowly. One serving is half the bar; this is a bar you sit with rather than finish absently.
  • Let it warm in the mouth. The fudge and toasted-nut notes open as the cacao butter softens.
  • Try it before a sitting practice if you want something to mark the start of a session.
  • Store it cool and dark, away from strong smells — cacao butter picks up whatever is nearby.
  • Do not expect candy. The manufacturer is blunt about this, and so are we.

✨ Temple Tip — half a bar is a serving, and that is deliberate

A 28 g serving is enough to feel the texture and the finish without overwhelming them. Break the bar in two when you open it and put half away — the second half tastes better tomorrow than the second half of a bar you were already tired of.
