How to use it
For counting practice, hold the strand over the middle finger and move one bead at a time with the thumb, working in one direction. Worn, at 16.5 inches it sits at the base of the throat — short enough to layer under a longer chain without tangling.
Take it off before showering or swimming. Strung gemstone beads are held on a cord, and repeated wetting weakens the thread long before it affects the stones. Store it coiled flat rather than hung, which keeps tension off the knots.

Better not to. Water weakens the stringing cord over time, and blue tiger's eye and apatite both prefer to stay dry.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the beads with a soft dry cloth. Avoid jewellery dips and ultrasonic cleaners — they attack the cord and the knots rather than the stones.
