How to use it

What you will need: your Heart Taper candle in the color of your choice, Come to Me oil, Fire of Desire oil or True Love oil, cherry bark, coltsfoot, sandalwood powder, a candle inscriber or sharp tool, a candle holder, petition paper and pen, and matches or a lighter.

Cleanse your space and center yourself. With the inscriber, scratch your initials and your beloved's onto the front and back hearts. If you are calling in someone you have not met yet, inscribe “My True Love” or your specific wishes instead.

Set the candle in its holder and dress it with your chosen love oil, working upward from base to tip. Sprinkle the cherry bark, coltsfoot and sandalwood powder around the base of the holder.

Light the candle on a Friday — the day of Venus — and speak your intention aloud. Visualize each heart glowing in turn.

Burn one heart per day across four days, snuffing the candle as each heart burns down, or burn the whole candle in one session. When the work is done, dispose of the remains respectfully with the words “This spell is complete.”
