The stones in this bracelet were made in the 1960s, sat in a drawer for sixty years, and were sourced and reassembled into something that looks nothing like what they were meant for. That is the whole idea.

Galaxy black, shark grey, bruise purple, froth pink, molten orange, and mothy lavender, set in an oxidized silver finish and handcrafted in Germany. Adjustable from 6.5" to 8". Nickel-free and hypoallergenic. It was designed to be worn with the Punk Rocks choker, and it stacks cleanly with plainer bands.

At a glance

  • 1960s dead-stock glass stones, sourced and reassembled
  • Oxidized silver finish
  • Adjustable 6.5"–8"
  • Nickel-free and hypoallergenic
  • Handcrafted in Germany in small batches

How to use it

  • Stack it against something plain. A flat band or a thin chain on the same wrist gives the colors a place to land.
  • Set the length once and leave it. Adjustable closures wear fastest when they are opened and reset every day.
  • Pair it with the Punk Rocks choker if you want the full effect — the two were drawn as a set.
  • Take it off before washing up. Wrists get wet more often than throats do, and oxidized silver does not enjoy it.

✨ Temple Tip — the dead-stock is finite

These are 1960s stones, not a current production run. When a colorway in this family sells through, it does not come back in exactly the same shades — the next batch is whatever the next drawer held. If a specific combination is the reason you want the piece, that is worth knowing.

The same dead-stock glass in a softer palette is the Paint Pot Layering Bracelet. On which arm to build the stack, see which wrist to wear a bracelet on; the rest is in Bracelets.

Questions we get asked

What does dead-stock mean here?
The glass stones were manufactured in the 1960s and never used. They were sourced and reassembled into new pieces rather than newly produced, so the color range is limited by what survived.
Will it fit my wrist?
It is adjustable from 6.5" to 8", which covers most wrists. If you sit outside that range, it will not be a comfortable fit.
What is an oxidized silver finish?
A deliberately darkened silver-tone surface finish. It gives the metal a matte, aged look and lets the glass colors read brighter against it.
Does it match the choker exactly?
It is drawn from the same Punk Rocks palette and designed to be worn with it, but the stones are vintage and hand-set, so the two will complement rather than mirror each other.
Is it nickel-free?
Yes — nickel-free and hypoallergenic throughout.

Care & safety: Nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Store flat and away from damp; remove before swimming, showering, sleeping, or applying perfume and hairspray. Plated and oxidized finishes are surface finishes and will soften with wear — that patina is expected rather than a fault. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only; no polishes or dips. Natural stone and vintage glass vary piece to piece. A decorative object — no outcome is promised, and nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice.

Stack it, then stop apologizing for it. #TempleOfDesire

In short

The Layering Bracelet in Punk Rocks is a stacking bracelet by mia vesper, handcrafted in Germany. It is set with 1960s dead-stock glass stones - galaxy black, shark grey, bruise purple, froth pink, molten orange, and mothy lavender - in an oxidized silver finish, adjustable from 6.5 to 8 inches and nickel-free. It is worn stacked against plainer bands or alongside the matching Punk Rocks choker, which was drawn as part of the same set. It costs $225. The stones are finite dead-stock rather than current production, so a colorway that sells through does not return in exactly the same shades.
