Forty-two cards, built around the moon and the divine feminine, for anyone who has noticed that certain weeks feel like swimming upstream and wants to know why. This is a deck about living in step with lunar cycles and with nature rather than against them.

What sets it apart is that every card gives you something to do. Alongside the image and its meaning, each card offers a ritual or a spell — a way to strengthen the connection to your higher self and your inner witch, deepen your practice, and see a situation more clearly than you did before you shuffled.

At a glance

  • 42-card oracle deck
  • Theme: the moon, lunar cycles and the divine feminine
  • Every card carries its own ritual or spell
  • Suitable for beginners and experienced readers alike
  • Card size: 11 x 6.5 cm (4.3 x 2.6 in)

How to use it

Start with a single card. Shuffle, ask a real question rather than a polite one, and draw. Read the meaning first, then do the ritual the card gives you — the deck is designed so that the doing is the reading.

Work it against the lunar calendar if you want more structure. Draw at the new moon for what you are beginning and at the full moon for what is ready to be seen, and keep the two cards side by side until the cycle closes.

Keep a short written note of each draw. Oracle decks reveal their patterns over months, not sittings, and the ritual you resisted most is usually the one worth returning to.

✨ Temple Tip

Do not draw a second card because you disliked the first. An oracle deck that gets overruled stops being useful very quickly — sit with the card you were given, do its ritual, and let the next cycle answer the rest.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards are in the deck?

Forty-two cards, each measuring 11 x 6.5 cm (4.3 x 2.6 in).

Is this deck suitable for beginners?

Yes. The deck is designed for both beginners and experienced readers, and the ritual printed with each card gives newcomers a clear starting point.

What makes it different from a tarot deck?

This is an oracle deck, so it does not follow the 78-card tarot structure. Its cards are built around lunar cycles and the divine feminine, and each one includes a ritual or spell to work with.

Do I need to know the moon phases to use it?

No. The deck is intended to help you connect with lunar cycles, so you can begin with single-card draws and add moon timing as you go.

How quickly does it ship?

Ships within 3 business days.

To go further

The moon keeps its schedule whether or not you keep yours — the cards simply help you notice. #TempleOfDesire

In short

The Moon Witch Oracle Deck from Green Witch Creations is a 42-card oracle deck built around the moon, lunar cycles and the divine feminine. Cards measure 11 × 6.5 cm, and alongside each image and its meaning every card carries a ritual or spell to work with. Readers draw single cards, or pair a new moon and a full moon draw to track a cycle, and many keep written notes of each reading. The deck costs $23.95 and ships as 42 cards. It is an oracle deck rather than a 78-card tarot deck, so it does not follow the tarot structure.
