Sandstone has a matte, slightly granular surface that absorbs light rather than reflecting it — which makes the flame above it read brighter than it would on polished stone.

How to use it

Use it alone on a small surface or in a group with the taller Pilar Tear holder. Sandstone is porous, so set it on a coaster if the surface underneath matters.

Brush dust off rather than wiping wet. Remove wax cold; sandstone will absorb warm wax into the surface.

✨ Temple Tip

Let wax go completely hard before you touch it. On porous stone this is not fussiness — warm wax soaks in and leaves a mark that does not come out.
