How to use it

  • Pick the color for the intention, not for the decor. The table below is the working key.
  • Use a holder that fits. These are slim tapers — a chime holder or a taper holder, never a flat surface.
  • Burn it down in one sitting where you can. A taper is meant to be a single working from lighting to extinguishing, not a candle you return to.
  • Carve or dress it if that is your practice — the wax takes a mark cleanly.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it clear of anything flammable, and out of reach of children and pets.

No — these are unscented candles, so they will not compete with incense, resin or oils on the same altar.
What size holder do they need?
They measure 6.29 x 0.47 x 0.47 inches, which fits standard chime candle holders and slim taper holders.
What wax are they made of?
Paraffin wax. If you specifically want a plant-based wax, look at the hand-poured soy and coconut candles in the Ritual Candles collection instead.
Can I use them for spell work with more than one intention?
Most people burn one taper per intention rather than mixing. If a working has two parts, burn two candles — it keeps the intention clean and it is easier to read afterwards.
