Collection: Abundance & Prosperity
Money, luck and career work: pyrite from $5.95, five spell oils at one price, green seven-day candles, spell kits and lamps. Two timelines run through it — Fast Luck for a deadline this week, Demeter for a season.
In short: the $11.95 Money Drawing 7-Day Candle burns for about seven cents an hour, and nothing else here comes close.

The complete buyer’s guide to abundance and prosperity work
Forty-seven entries sit in this collection, thirty-nine of them live and thirty-six of those buyable today. They fall into five honest groups: five stones, five anointing oils at a single price, eleven candles across five different formats, four figural spell kits, and three lamps. What follows is the arithmetic behind each group — what a dollar actually buys, where the formats overlap, and the four places where this page is thinner than it looks.
Two timelines run through this page, and they are not interchangeable
Money work in the Anglo-American conjure tradition splits along speed, and this collection carries both halves without labeling them. One half is fast: Fast Luck Ritual Oil at $10.00, Good Luck Ritual Oil at the same price, Money Mist also at $10.00 — for the register or the wallet before a specific meeting. The other half is slow and agricultural: Demeter’s Abundance Ritual Set at $20.00, The Empress Candle Spell Kit at $43.95, the Taurus Bull candle at $22.95 — whose own instructions tell you to burn it across several days rather than one sitting, because “the sign takes its time.”
The distinction matters more than the price. A deadline on Friday and a career you want to be different by spring are not the same request, and buying the wrong timeline is the most common way this category disappoints people. Two pieces in the magazine draw the line more carefully than a product page can: Success Work vs. Money Work separates a raise from a windfall, and Road Opener or Money Candle? asks the one question that decides which you actually need. If the honest answer is “something is blocked” rather than “I want more,” the work belongs in Banishing & Road Opening, not here.
What a dollar buys: the candle formats, priced by the hour
Eleven candles on this page span five formats, and the price tags hide how differently they behave. Cost per hour of flame is the comparison nobody prints, so here it is. Burn times are the manufacturers’ stated maximums, taken from each product page.
| Candle | Price | Stated burn | Per hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| Money Drawing 7-Day Candle | $11.95 | ~168 h | ≈ 7¢ |
| Lakshmi Crystal Altar Candle, 16 oz | $34.95 | up to 168 h | ≈ 21¢ |
| Money Drawing Prosperity Candle, 8 oz | $18.00 | up to 50 h | ≈ 36¢ |
| Good Fortune Spell Candle, 8 oz | $18.95 | up to 50 h | ≈ 38¢ |
| Citrine Clean Crystal Candle | $28.95 | up to 60 h | ≈ 48¢ |
| Taurus Bull beeswax candle | $22.95 | up to 6 h | ≈ $3.83 |
Read that column and one thing jumps out: the cheapest candle on the page delivers by far the most flame. This is not a trick of the table. A seven-day glass candle is a single wick in a tall column of wax with nothing else in the vessel, and that is the whole reason it is cheap. The figural beeswax candles at the bottom are not competing on hours at all — you buy six hours of Taurus because the shape, the color you pick from ten, and the single working are the point. Paying $3.83 an hour is rational when the hour is the ritual. Paying it because you wanted a candle for the shelf is not. If you are new to reading a long burn, How to Read a 7-Day Candle covers soot, wax and flame, and what a cracked glass actually means answers the question that arrives on day three.
Five spell oils, one price — and one of them is 39% larger
All five anointing oils here cost $10.00: Money Magnet, Fast Luck, Good Luck, Better Business and Success. Flat pricing across an intention range is a kindness — it means you choose by purpose rather than by budget. But the bottles are not the same size, and nothing on the shelf tells you so.
Money Magnet comes in a 1/2 oz bottle. The other four come in .36 oz bottles. Same ten dollars. That works out to $20.00 an ounce against $27.78 an ounce — Money Magnet gives you roughly 39% more oil for the identical price. It is also the most broadly useful of the five, because basil and peppermint in a coconut base is a general money formula rather than a situational one. If you are buying your first oil on this page and have no specific deadline, buy that one. If you do have a deadline, the .36 oz of Fast Luck is still the right bottle — you are paying for a formula, not for volume, and a half-ounce of anointing oil outlasts most people’s patience anyway.
Two notes that save disappointment. First, these are anointing oils for dressing candles, doorways, cash and charms — not body oils and not for ingestion. The two shimmer oils on this page, the Citrine Gemstone Body Oil, are the skin-safe ones, and there the size math runs the other way: 1 oz at $10.00 is $10.00 an ounce, the 3.4 oz at $24.00 is $7.06 an ounce, so the full size is about 29% cheaper per ounce. Second, direction matters in the tradition and is easy to get backward — How to Dress a Candle With Oil walks the whole motion, and How to Make Anointing Oils covers blends and skin safety if you would rather build your own.
The stones, and the one caveat about citrine worth knowing before you buy
Six stones anchor this page, and they are the cheapest way in: Pyrite Tumbled Stone at $5.95, The Abundance Trio at $8.99 for raw citrine, pyrite and green aventurine together, and polished pyrite spheres, eggs and hearts from $42.95 at the other end. That last one is a genuine hand object rather than a display piece: a 65 mm sphere weighs 320 grams, and the weight is most of the experience.
The caveat is citrine. Most citrine sold anywhere in the world is heat-treated amethyst, which is why it runs orange-red with a white base rather than the pale smoky yellow of the natural stone. Neither is a fake exactly, but they are not the same material and they do not cost the same to produce. The Natural Citrine Tumbled Stone here is sold as natural at $6.95 — and is out of stock as this page is written. Real vs. Treated Crystals explains how to tell the difference by eye before you spend anything, anywhere.
One piece of practical care that applies to half this page: pyrite contains iron and will rust. Do not put it in water, do not put it in a moon-water bowl, do not run it under the tap. Smoke, sound or a night beside selenite are the methods that do not destroy it — How to Cleanse Crystals (Without Ruining Them) lists which stones tolerate which method, and How to Charge Crystals covers the step after. For the wider case on what this tradition actually uses for money and why, Crystals for Money is the honest version.
The oil-candle trio, and why the bundle is not a discount
Two refillable oil candles sit at the top of this page. The Jupiter Oil Candle is $25.95 for 3 oz, $37.95 for 6 oz and $63.95 for 12 oz. The Abundance Altar Trio is $75.95, $113.95 and $189.95 for the same three sizes — and it is three separate bottles, Demeter, Dionysus and Rhea, not one larger one.
| Size | Trio price | Three single oil candles | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 oz | $75.95 | $77.85 | trio saves $1.90 |
| 6 oz | $113.95 | $113.85 | trio costs 10¢ more |
| 12 oz | $189.95 | $191.85 | trio saves $1.90 |
So buy the trio for the three deities, not for the saving — there effectively isn’t one, and at 6 oz you pay a dime for the privilege. Demeter, Dionysus and Rhea are not sold separately anywhere in this shop, which is the real argument for the set. The counter-argument is just as plain: three lit bottles is a three-bottle practice, and most people light one. If you are not sure yet, a single 3 oz Jupiter at $25.95 is the honest way to find out whether a refillable lamp suits you at all before spending $75.95 to discover it does not.
One structural thing about this format that catches people out: the price buys the lamp, not the burning. A 3 oz filling lasts roughly 10 to 15 hours and then you refill it. That is the opposite of a wax candle, where the object and the fuel are the same thing, and it is why oil candles do not belong in the cost-per-hour table above. Never let the wick burn down into an empty bottle — a charred wick smells for days afterward.
What this page does not have, said plainly
Four gaps, because finding them yourself one click at a time is worse. Natural citrine, the signature stone of the whole category, is out of stock at $6.95, as are the Peruvian cocada pyrite at $8.95 and the cinnamon-and-orange smudge stick at $7.95. Eight further entries sit on draft and are not visible at all — among them four bracelets, the pyrite stud earrings, and the Crown of Success 7-Day Candle, which is the career-recognition counterpart to the money candle and the second-best value on this page by the hour. There is no green-aventurine single, so the third stone of the Abundance Trio cannot be bought on its own; the trio is the only route to it. And the jewelry is thin — four of the seven pieces are on draft, leaving the citrine and selenite luck bracelet at $34.95, the Hamsa hand set at $49.95 and the citrine anklet at $27.95 carrying the whole category.
Two more honest notes. The three lamps — Midas Citrine and Manifest Success at $69.95, the Citrine Halo at $79.95 — are decor objects with crystals in them, not ritual tools in the sense the candles are; buy them as lighting you like looking at. And the Personal Ritual, Made to Measure at $197.00 is not a product at all but a written service from Leif Daniel, delivered as a PDF within 24 to 48 hours. It sits in this collection because people search for it here, but it is the only entry on the page that nothing ships for. If you would rather write your own, How to Write Your Own Ritual is the free version of the same framework, and How to Spot a Fake Spell Caster is worth reading before you pay anyone for this kind of work, us included.
Three worked baskets, if you want to be told
$17.90 — the honest starter. Money Drawing 7-Day Candle at $11.95 plus a pyrite tumbled stone at $5.95. A week of flame and a stone to hold while it burns, for less than the price of one 8 oz jar candle. This is the basket we would hand almost everybody.
$30.89 — the full working. Add Money Magnet Spell Oil at $10.00 and The Abundance Trio at $8.99 to the starter, and drop the single pyrite you no longer need. Candle, oil to dress it with, three stones to set around it — the complete structure that the money candle ritual describes, nothing missing and nothing decorative.
$80.90 — the altar. Lakshmi Crystal Altar Candle at $34.95 for 168 hours of patient burning, a 3 oz Jupiter Oil Candle at $25.95 as the refillable working light, and the prosperity smudge spray at $18.95 to clear the space first — useful in a rental or an office where you cannot burn anything. How to Set Up an Altar in a Shared Room covers doing all of this without a room of your own.
Nothing here treats, cures or guarantees anything. Money work is a practice of attention and follow-through; the candle is the appointment you keep with yourself, and the part that changes your finances is still the part you do after you snuff it. Frequently asked questions
Which stone should I start with for money work?
Pyrite, at $5.95. It is the cheapest stone on the page, the most durable, and the one the tradition leans on hardest for money and willpower — and unlike citrine it is unambiguous about what it is. Keep it dry: pyrite contains iron and rusts, so cleanse it with smoke or beside selenite rather than in water. If you want all three of the classic money stones at once, The Abundance Trio at $8.99 gives you raw citrine, pyrite and green aventurine for three dollars more.
Is the citrine on this page natural or heat-treated?
The Natural Citrine Tumbled Stone at $6.95 is sold as natural, which means pale smoky yellow rather than the orange-red with a white base that heat-treated amethyst produces. Most citrine sold anywhere in the world is the treated kind. Neither is a fake, but they are different materials at different production costs, and the difference is visible once you know what to look for. Note that the natural stone is out of stock at the time of writing.
What is the difference between a seven-day candle, an 8 oz jar candle and a spell kit?
Burn length and how much of the working is done for you. The seven-day glass candle is about 168 hours of continuous flame for $11.95 — roughly seven cents an hour, the best value on the page. The 8 oz jar candles run up to 50 hours at $18.00 to $18.95 and are made for sessions rather than a single week. A spell kit at $36.95 to $43.95 is a figural beeswax candle of six to eight hours plus three herbs, a dressing oil, a petition paper and printed instructions — you are buying the whole structured working, not the burn time.
Green or yellow — which candle color for money?
Both are traditional and they carry different emphases. Green is the North American conjure convention for money drawing and growth, which is why the Money Drawing 7-Day Candle is green. Yellow and gold lean toward success, recognition and the solar plexus — career rather than cash. If you cannot choose, the deciding question is whether you want more money or a better position, because those are two different spells. Candle Color Meanings covers the full range.
How much spell oil do I actually need for one candle?
Far less than people expect. A few drops dressed along the wax is the whole application, so a .36 oz bottle covers many workings and a 1/2 oz bottle covers more than most practices get through in a year. Do not pour oil into the well of a burning candle or onto a wick — it is a fire risk, not a stronger spell. Dress the candle before you light it, on a heat-safe surface.
Is the Money Magnet oil really better value than the others?
By volume, yes. All six oils on this page cost $10.00, but Money Magnet comes in a 1/2 oz bottle while Fast Luck, Good Luck, Better Business and Success come in .36 oz bottles. That is $20.00 an ounce against $27.78 an ounce — about 39% more oil for the same money. Choose by intention first; Money Magnet simply happens to be both the most general formula and the larger bottle.
Should I work fast luck or something slower?
Match the timeline to the actual situation. Fast Luck and Good Luck are built for a named event with a date on it — an interview, a draw, a pitch on Thursday. Demeter’s set, The Empress kit and the Taurus candle are seasonal work for something you want grown rather than won, and the Taurus instructions explicitly ask you to burn it across several days. Running fast work on a slow problem is the most common reason this category disappoints people.
Does buying the Abundance Altar Trio save money over three single oil candles?
Barely, and at one size not at all. Three single 3 oz oil candles cost $77.85 against $75.95 for the trio, a saving of $1.90. At 6 oz the trio costs $113.95 while three singles cost $113.85 — ten cents more for the set. At 12 oz it saves $1.90 again. Buy the trio because Demeter, Dionysus and Rhea are not sold separately anywhere in the shop, not because it is cheaper.
