How to use it
Plan the position before it arrives. A specimen at 25 inches with a 16-inch spread needs clearance on all sides, a surface that will take the weight without flexing, and — ideally — a spot where people walk past rather than one they have to go and look at. Corners kill pieces like this.
Light it from low and to one side. A cluster is a field of terminations at different angles, and the whole effect depends on those faces catching light independently. A single low-angle source produces far more sparkle than bright, even overhead lighting, which washes the entire piece flat.
