How to use it
- Light the end of the bundle with the fewest stems and let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so it smolders.
- Waft the smoke with your hand or a feather, or rest the bundle on a heat-resistant surface such as an abalone shell.
- Move through the room clockwise, paying attention to corners, doorways, and any space that feels heavy.
- Open a window so the smoke — and whatever it carries — has somewhere to go.
- Press the lit end out completely in sand or a shell. Never leave a smoldering bundle unattended.

What is pampas plume doing in a smudge stick?
The pampas plume brings a soft elegance to the bundle, both to look at and to burn. It rounds out the sharper edges of sage and rosemary.
Where does your white sage come from?
Never harvest white sage from national parks or Native land — it is not ours to take. Our sage is farm-grown in sustainable ways on a farm in Mexico.
How do I put it out safely?
Press the smoldering end into sand or a heat-resistant shell until no smoke rises. Keep it away from children, animals, and anything flammable.
