How to use it
What you will need: your Capricorn Goat candle in the color of your choice, Grand Success oil, comfrey (for Saturn energy and success), patchouli (for grounding), pine (for prosperity) and thyme (for discipline), petition paper and pen, a fireproof dish or tray, and matches or a lighter.
Cleanse your space and center yourself in Capricorn energy. Write your intention on the petition paper and place it under the heat-safe tray.
Dress the candle with Grand Success oil, set it on the tray and sprinkle the comfrey, patchouli, pine and thyme around the base.
Light the candle and speak your intention aloud, then hold the image of the sign at work in your favor while the flame settles.
Burn the candle daily while it is safe to do so, focusing on your intention each time you light it. When the work is done, dispose of the remains respectfully with the words “This spell is complete.”

✨ Temple Tip
Capricorn is the sign least interested in shortcuts, and the work reflects that. Pair this candle with a plan you can actually follow — a date, a next step, a person to call — and the spell has something to push against.
Questions & answers
Which color should I choose?
Match the color to the intention rather than to the candle. The table above lists what each of the ten colors is traditionally worked for; if you are unsure, white is the all-purpose choice.
Do I have to burn it in one sitting?
No. Burn it as long as it is safe to do so, then snuff it and relight it the next day, focusing on your intention each time you light it, until the candle is finished.
Does it come with oil and herbs?
No — this is the candle on its own. The oils and botanicals named in the ritual above are sold separately in our Ritual Oils & Sprays and Sacred Smoke & Cleansing collections.
Do I have to be this sign to use it?
No. The candle is worked just as often to reach someone born under a Capricorn sun, to mark Capricorn season or a lunation in Capricorn, or to borrow the qualities of the sign for a particular piece of work.
Is there anything I should know about burning the candles?
Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from anything flammable, and burn it on a heat-safe surface out of reach of children and pets. The candles are 100% pure beeswax with lead-free cotton wicks and no added fragrance.
How fast does it ship?
Orders ship within 3 business days.
