How to use it
- Hold it in your palm for a moment before you do anything else, and simply notice how it feels.
- Set an intention — a word, a sentence, a wish. Say it out loud if that feels right.
- Carry it in a pocket, keep it on your desk, or place it beside your bed where you will see it.
- Bring it into meditation: hold it loosely, let your thumb rest on the surface, and breathe.

Adularescence only appears at certain angles — which is a rather good metaphor for intuition. Before a journey or a decision, turn the stone slowly until the flash catches. Then ask your question. Something about waiting for the light to arrive makes the answer easier to hear.

What is adularescence?
It is the shifting, billowy sheen that appears to float just below the surface of Moonstone and moves as you tilt the stone. In multi-color Moonstone it flashes blue, peach, silver, and sometimes gold.
Why is it called the traveler's stone?
Moonstone is traditionally associated with safe travel and new beginnings, and with the intuitive knowing that guides you through unfamiliar territory.
Which chakras does it work with?
Third Eye, Crown, and Heart — the multi-color flash is said to activate several chakras simultaneously.
Will my stone look exactly like the photo?
