How to use it
Assemble on the floor where the stand will live, not where it is convenient — once a gong is hung, moving the whole assembly is a two-person job.
Hang the gong from its cords so the disc sits clear of the frame on all sides and can swing a little when tapped. If it touches anywhere, the tone will be damped and you will blame the gong.
Leave at least an arm's length of clear space behind the gong. Sound needs somewhere to go, and a gong pushed up against a wall loses most of its bloom.
