The Lovers is the sixth card of the Major Arcana, and it is less about romance than most people expect. It is the card of union and of choice — two things held in balance, and the decision that honors both.
So it covers more ground than a straightforward love candle. It suits work on an existing partnership as readily as work on attraction, and it suits the decision you are circling where the honest answer is the one your values already know. The kit builds a candle spell around it, with a beeswax cast of the card in ten colors.
The box holds the candle in your chosen color, three herbs selected for this kind of work, a dressing oil, and a printed instruction sheet. The candle is 3.75" of solid beeswax with the card's figures raised in relief.

What this kit is for
| Love & connection | Attraction, deepening an existing bond, and self-directed love as its own working. |
| Partnership & harmony | Balance between two people, or between two parts of a situation that keep pulling opposite ways. |
| Heart-led choices | Decisions made from your own values rather than from pressure — the choice half of the card. |
How to use it
- Choose the color that matches your intention, not the card. The table below is the working key.
- Name the work. Say plainly what the spell is for, in one sentence, before you touch the candle.
- Dress the candle with the oil, then the herbs, following the printed instruction sheet in the box.
- Set it on a heatproof surface — a plate or holder, which is not included — clear of anything that can catch.
- Burn it in one sitting or across several, snuffing rather than blowing it out if you intend to relight. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

✨ Temple Tip
The most common mistake with a love candle is naming a specific person when the honest wish is to be loved. Work aimed at a named individual constrains the outcome to that person and to their willingness; work aimed at the quality you want leaves the door wider. Many practitioners burn this card twice — once for themselves, once for the situation — before naming anyone at all.

Questions people ask
What is in the kit?
A beeswax candle cast as The Lovers tarot card in your chosen color, three herbs selected for this type of work, one dressing oil, and a printed instruction sheet. You supply a heatproof holder.
Can I use this for self-love rather than romance?
Yes, and it is one of the uses the maker names. The Lovers is a card of union and of choice, not only of couples — pink is the color most often chosen for self-directed compassion.
Which color should I choose?
Red for passion and desire, pink for compassion and gentle harmony, white for pure and divine love, green for love that grows and nurtures, blue for calm communication in a partnership, purple for soulful connection, brown for trust and stability, black for protecting a relationship, orange for confidence and intimacy, yellow for joy.
How long does the candle burn?
The maker publishes no burn time for this 3.75" candle, so we do not quote one. Burning it across several sittings is normal; snuff it rather than blowing it out, and never leave it unattended.
Is it scented?
No. 100% pure beeswax, fragrance-free, on a lead-free cotton wick.
