How to use it

Cleanse before you set. Sage or white frankincense first to clear the space, then a flower blend for whatever comes after.

Corners and thresholds. Doorways, corners and windows are where cleansing practice traditionally concentrates. Move through in one direction.

Heat-proof holder, ventilated room. Resin blends smoke more than plain sticks. Open a window before you light.

Eucalyptus for stale rooms. Invigorating and fresh — the blend for a space that has been shut up too long.

Relight rather than restart. 40–50 minutes is a long clear. Pinch it out when the room is done.

Four of the six blends are built on frankincense. If the resin note works for you, most of this line will — and if it does not, start with the white sage or the eucalyptus blend instead.

How long does one stick burn?
40 to 50 minutes — slightly shorter than the 60-minute sticks elsewhere in the shop. You can still extinguish and relight for multiple sessions.
Which is the strongest cleanser?
White sage is the one the maker highlights for purifying environments and is the traditional first choice. White frankincense is the gentler alternative if sage smoke is too much for your space.
How much smoke should I expect?
A generous amount — that is the point of a smoke cleanse. Open a window, start in a well-ventilated room and begin your practice away from smoke detectors.
What do I burn it in?
A heat-proof incense holder with an ash catcher, on a stable non-flammable surface. Never leave a burning stick unattended, and keep it clear of curtains, drafts and anything that can catch.
Can I return it?
This item is non-returnable. Because it is a burnable, hand-made good, it cannot be restocked once it leaves us — so read the scent notes carefully before you choose, and reach out first if you are unsure.
