How to use it

Light it on Thursdays. That is the day the tradition assigns to this planet, and the simplest way to build a repeating weekly practice.

Give it a heat-proof holder. Ash catcher underneath, stable surface, nothing flammable within reach.

Basil, frankincense and benzoin makes Jupiter the heaviest and most classically incense-like stick in the Cosmos line. If you find the citrus and fruit variants too light, this is the one that will hold a large room.
Questions we get asked
Do I have to burn it on Thursdays?
No. The day is the tradition's recommendation, not a rule — the stick burns the same on any other. Most people who use the Cosmos line simply find the weekly anchor easier to keep than an open-ended intention.
How long does one stick burn?
About 60 minutes. You can also put a stick out partway through and relight it later, so a single stick can carry several shorter sessions rather than one long one.
Can I put it out and relight it?
Yes — that is how these are built. Press the lit end gently against a heat-proof surface or into sand until the ember dies, then relight the same tip when you want it again.
What do I burn it in?
A heat-proof incense holder with an ash catcher, on a stable non-flammable surface. Never leave a burning stick unattended, and keep it clear of curtains, drafts and anything that can catch.
Can I return it?
This item is non-returnable. Because it is a burnable, hand-made good, it cannot be restocked once it leaves us — so read the scent notes carefully before you choose, and reach out first if you are unsure.
