At a glance
-
Sold by the planet — pick a single box, or choose One of Each for all seven
-
Seven planets, seven traditional weekdays, each with its own scent
-
Fruit-biomass base rather than charcoal — unusual in incense manufacturing, and it cuts the charcoal load substantially
-
Around 60 minutes per stick, and a stick can be extinguished and relit across several sessions
- Non-returnable
How to use it
-
Follow the weekday if you want the traditional planetary structure — Venus on Friday, Jupiter on Thursday. It is a scheduling system, and its value is that it makes practice regular.
-
Or choose by intent and ignore the calendar: Mars before something confrontational, Saturn for slow structural work, Moon for dream and intuition practice.
-
Burn in a heat-proof holder that catches ash, on a stable surface, with a window open. Smoke in a closed room is smoke you are breathing.
-
Extinguish by pressing the ember out rather than blowing, then relight the same stick next session — that is what the multi-burn design is for.
-
Light it at the start of a working rather than during it. The scent marks the beginning; you should not need to tend it once you have begun.

✨ Temple Tip — start with the day you already keep
If you are choosing one box, do not pick the planet with the best reputation — pick the weekday you already have a habit on. A Sunday morning that reliably exists will carry a practice; a Tuesday you have never protected will not, whatever is burning on it.
Questions we get asked
Do I get all seven planets?
Only if you choose the One of Each! 7 Boxes option. Every other option is a single planet, so check which one is selected before you order.
How long does a stick burn?
Around sixty minutes. You can also press it out partway and relight it in a later session — the line is designed for that.
What is a fruit-biomass base?
The material the incense is built on. Most incense uses a charcoal base; this line uses a base made from fruit biomass instead, which substantially reduces the charcoal load.
Do the planetary correspondences do anything?
They are traditional attributions — a system for organising attention and timing, not a claim about effects. Their practical use is that they give a practice a schedule.
Is it safe to burn indoors?
With ventilation and a heat-proof holder, in the normal way. Incense smoke contains particulates, so open a window, never leave it unattended, and take particular care around asthma, small children and birds.
Which planet on which day is not arbitrary — the seven-day planetary cycle lays out the whole week. More sticks in Incense Sticks & Cones, and everything else that smokes in Sacred Smoke & Cleansing.
Light it, sit down, and let the hour begin properly. #TempleOfDesire
