- 30 thick incense sticks per box

About one hour each — around thirty hours per box
-
Soft floral with creamy, slightly citrus undertones

How to use it
-
Evening scent. This is the one to burn at the end of the day rather than the start.
-
Heat-proof holder on a stable surface, ventilated room.
-
Keep it away from cooking. Florals and kitchen smells do not cooperate.
-
Fifteen to twenty minutes is plenty for a bedroom. Extinguish in sand and keep the remainder.
-
Do not layer it. One floral at a time — a candle underneath turns it muddy.
✨ Temple Tip — creamy florals go further than sweet ones
Sweet florals saturate a room and then you stop smelling them entirely after ten minutes — your nose gives up. A creamy floral with a citrus edge, like magnolia, keeps announcing itself in small waves for far longer. Burn less than you think you need and you will smell it for longer.
Questions we get asked
How many sticks come in the box?
Thirty thick sticks, each designed to burn for approximately one hour.
Is it a sweet scent?
Not especially. It is soft and creamy with a faint citrus undertone — less sugary than most floral incense.
Can I burn it in a bedroom?
Yes, with the window cracked and well before you sleep. Extinguish it rather than leaving it to burn out.
Can I put one out and relight it?
Yes — that is how the maker intends them to be used. Press the lit end gently into sand or a heat-proof dish, let it cool, and relight when you next sit down.
Do I need a holder?
Yes. Use a heat-proof holder or ash catcher on a stable, non-flammable surface, in a ventilated room, and never leave a burning stick unattended.
Burn safely: Always burn in a heat-proof holder on a stable, non-flammable surface, in a well-ventilated room. Never leave a burning stick, bomb or disk unattended. Keep away from children, pets, curtains and anything that catches. Smoke-cleansing products give off a lot of smoke — start away from smoke detectors. Store dry and out of direct sun.
