Three ways this page works

Everything here does one of three things. Some you hold: twelve palm-sized comfort stones, smooth ovals with a thumb indentation, made for rubbing rather than carrying. Some you burn or apply: candles, anointing and body oils, spell kits, booster packs. The comfort stones, and why the price never moves

All twelve cost exactly $6.95. Six of the twelve are sold out as this page is written. That is the useful fact: here the price tells you the format, never the quality. Smoky quartz, howlite, fluorite, sodalite, labradorite, serpentine, clear quartz, black and snowflake obsidian, tourmalinated quartz, golden aventurine and green goldstone are one object in twelve minerals — the only decision is which you want in your hand. Six are sold out as this page is written (fluorite, serpentine, snowflake obsidian, tourmalinated quartz, golden aventurine and green goldstone), which leaves smoky quartz, howlite, sodalite, labradorite, clear quartz and black obsidian to choose from today. The three booster packs behave the same way — all $33.95, differing in intention, not in contents.

A comfort stone is not a pocket stone: the first is a smooth oval with a thumb hollow, for holding and rubbing in moments of overwhelm; the second an irregular tumbled piece, for carrying all day. Want a stone you notice — comfort stone. Want one you forget about — tumbled.

Kits, boosters and what you actually receive

A booster pack is not a spell kit and will not work alone. It adds four beeswax tapers, a second consecrated oil, extra herbs, a tumbled stone, glitter and a petition paper to a kit you already own — bought by itself it has no main candle. The kits are complete: candle, three herbs, dressing oil, printed instructions.

Honest notes

Green goldstone is man-made glass with copper in it, first produced by Italian glassmakers in the seventeenth century — a lovely object, and not a mineral. Nothing here is for the bath and nothing is to drink. And the span from $6.95 to $5,392.95 is no quality ladder: a palm stone and a six-bowl set are not alternatives.

Care

Cleanse in smoke or on selenite; both are safe for everything here. Candles want the wick trimmed to a quarter inch and a first burn long enough to melt the wax out to the glass. Oils go on skin, candles, doorways or tools — patch-test a new oil first.

Questions we get asked

What is a comfort stone?
Also called a thumb stone or worry stone: a smooth oval with a slight indentation, made to be held in the palm and rubbed with the thumb. A pocket stone is an irregular tumbled piece meant for carrying instead.

Why do all the comfort stones cost the same?
Because the format is the product. All twelve are $6.95, so the choice is which mineral you want in your hand rather than how much to spend — but six are sold out as this page is written, leaving smoky quartz, howlite, sodalite, labradorite, clear quartz and black obsidian.

Can I use a booster pack on its own?
No. A booster adds tapers, a second oil, herbs, a stone and a petition paper to a candle spell kit you already have. On its own it has no main candle.

Is the green goldstone a natural stone?
No. It is man-made glass containing copper, originally created by Italian glassmakers in the seventeenth century, and we label it as such.

How do I clean these pieces?
Smoke or a night beside selenite works for every stone here. Avoid prolonged soaking, and keep water away from candles and finished surfaces.

Are these health products?
No. They are traditional and decorative objects. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and none of it replaces medical care.
