How to use it
You can read it straight through, but it works better opened at whatever season you happen to be in and used from there. Build one ritual regimen you can keep for a year rather than attempting all twelve chapters at once — the book is explicitly designed to be honored over a full turn of the wheel.
✨ Temple Tip
Start with the season you are in, not with Aries. The book opens at the top of the zodiac year, which tempts everyone to begin in March and abandon it by May. Find the current chapter, do one thing from it this month, and let the wheel bring you round to the beginning in its own time.
Questions we get asked
Do I need any experience?
No. It is written for people who are curious about witchcraft but have not started, and every chapter is built around something you can do with ordinary materials.
Is it an astrology book?
It uses the zodiac year as its structure rather than teaching chart reading. You get the archetypal character of each season and practices that fit it, not natal astrology.
What sort of projects are in it?
Practical, domestic ones — planting, salt scrubs, sun tea, hosting — alongside spellcasting and self-care rituals. The emphasis throughout is on doing rather than reading.
What format is this edition?
Hardcover, 304 pages, illustrated, roughly 8.1 by 6.2 inches. Published January 2025.
