How to use it
-
Wear it at the shorter setting if you want the fangs to sit on the throat rather than the collarbone. The two lengths read very differently.
-
Layer downward, not upward. A longer chain beneath it gives the fangs room; anything above crowds them.
-
Keep the neckline plain. Collars and prints fight the shape.
-
Fasten it last and unfasten it first, before hair and clothing catch on the points.

✨ Temple Tip — the fangs decide the length
On a pointed choker, an inch of length changes the whole reading. Sat high on the throat the fangs look deliberate and slightly armored; dropped to the collarbone they soften into ornament. Try both settings before you decide which piece you actually bought.
Built to be layered — the piece it was designed to sit beside is the Paint Pot Layering Choker in the same colorway. Both are in Necklaces & Malas.
Questions we get asked
How long is it?
Adjustable from 16" to 18.5", so it can be worn tight at the throat or dropped toward the collarbone.
Are the stones vintage?
Yes — 1960s dead-stock glass, sourced and reassembled. The color range is limited by what was still available, so batches are not infinitely repeatable.
Is the gold solid?
It is an 18k gold finish over the base metal, not solid gold. Kept dry and away from friction it holds its color well.
Does it layer with the bracelet?
Yes. The Punk Rocks bracelet and waist chain are drawn from the same palette and were designed to be worn together.
Is it heavy?
It is a glass-stone piece rather than a metal one, so it has presence without the weight of a solid collar.
Care & safety: Nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Store flat and away from damp; remove before swimming, showering, sleeping, or applying perfume and hairspray. Plated and oxidized finishes are surface finishes and will soften with wear — that patina is expected rather than a fault. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only; no polishes or dips. Natural stone and vintage glass vary piece to piece. A decorative object — no outcome is promised, and nothing here is medical, legal, or financial advice.
