White sage, bound with green rose petals and a trinity of flowers. The rose brings its own soft, open-hearted energy to a bundle that is otherwise all about clearing — which makes this smudge feel less like a scrubbing and more like a reminder to come back into harmony with the natural world.

The three flowers are not decoration alone. In ceremony, a trinity carries many meanings; the one most often named is Maiden, Mother, Crone — the three stages of the goddess. Burn it when you want to clear a space without hardening it, or when a ritual calls for something gentler than sage alone.

At a glance

  • Size: 4-inch bundle
  • Botanicals: White sage, green rose petals, three flowers
  • Best for: Harmony work, heart-centered ritual, gentle space clearing
  • Symbolism: The trinity — Maiden, Mother, Crone
  • Sourcing: Sage farm-grown in Mexico, never wild-harvested from Native land

How to use it

  1. Light the end of the bundle with the fewest stems and let it catch, then gently blow out the flame so it smolders.
  2. Waft the smoke with your hand or a feather, or rest the bundle on a heat-resistant surface such as an abalone shell.
  3. Move through the room clockwise, paying attention to corners, doorways, and any space that feels heavy.
  4. Open a window so the smoke — and whatever it carries — has somewhere to go.
  5. Press the lit end out completely in sand or a shell. Never leave a smoldering bundle unattended.

The ceremonial triad

Sacred smoke Its role in the ceremony When to reach for it
Sweetgrass Calls the energies forth At the very start, to open the space
White Sage Clears and cleanses In the middle, to sweep out what is stale
Palo Santo Raises the vibration At the close, to lift the room

✨ Temple Tip — let the flowers do their work first

Before you light it, hold the bundle and look at the three flowers. Name one thing you want to be in harmony with — a person, a season, your own body. Then light it. The smoke does the clearing; the naming does the rest.

Questions we get asked

Do the rose petals burn too?

They will smolder along with the sage as the bundle burns down. Many people keep floral bundles on the altar for a while first and light them only when the moment calls for it.

What does the trinity of flowers mean?

In ceremony a trinity carries many meanings. The one most often named is Maiden, Mother, Crone — the three stages of the goddess.

Where does your white sage come from?

Never harvest white sage from national parks or Native land — it is not ours to take. Our sage is farm-grown in sustainable ways on a farm in Mexico.

How do I put it out safely?

Press the smoldering end firmly into sand or a heat-resistant shell until no smoke rises at all. Never leave a bundle unattended, and keep it away from children, animals, and anything flammable.

Is this a health or medical product?

No. Our crystal and herbal products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and nothing here has been evaluated by the FDA. They are ritual and spiritual tools. Please consult a healthcare professional for medical questions, and speak with one before using herbal products if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medication.

When will it ship?

Ships within 3 business days from our US fulfillment partner.

Smudge responsibly, or with adult supervision. Loved by ritual keepers across Europe, and now finding its way to American altars.

In short

This is a 4-inch white sage smudge stick from Sacred Crystals, bound with green rose petals and three flowers. The sage is farm-grown in Mexico and not wild-harvested from Native land. The three flowers are read in ceremony as the trinity of Maiden, Mother, and Crone, and practitioners burn the bundle for heart-centered or harmony work when sage alone feels too severe. One bundle is $6.95. It is a burnable botanical product — the flowers are consumed along with the sage, and a smoldering bundle should never be left unattended.
