Some objects hold flowers. This one holds attention. 'HER' is a study of the human form in ceramic — the curve of a hip, the turn of a shoulder — abstracted just far enough that you read it as grace rather than anatomy.

Made by hand at Osmos Studio, each vase carries the small irregularities that tell you a person shaped it. Put it on an altar, a windowsill or an empty shelf and it does the work of a sculpture, with or without stems in it.

At a glance

  • Hand-thrown fine ceramic, sculptural feminine form
  • Works filled with dried stems or entirely empty
  • Matte surface that catches candlelight softly
  • Made by artisans through the Osmos Studio workshop
  • Each piece varies slightly — no two identical

How to use it

Give it space. A sculptural vase loses its effect in a crowded shelf; leave a hand's width of emptiness around it and the silhouette does the rest.

For flowers, keep the arrangement low and loose so the vessel stays the subject. Dried grasses, pampas or a single branch suit it better than a full bouquet. Rinse gently with warm water; no dishwasher.

✨ Temple Tip

Set it where the light moves — near a window or beside a candle. The matte glaze shifts through the day, and the form reads differently at dusk than it does at noon.

Questions we get asked

Is it watertight for fresh flowers?

Yes, the interior is glazed and holds water. For long-term display we still recommend dried arrangements, which keep the ceramic dry and the piece looking its best.

How large is it?

Dimensions vary slightly by piece because each is hand-thrown. Check the product images for scale against a hand.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Rinse by hand with warm water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges on the matte finish.

Is every vase the same?

No. Small variations in height, curve and glaze are part of hand production, not defects.

Handmade, one of a kind, and quietly commanding. #TempleOfDesire

In short

HER is a sculptural ceramic vase made by hand at Osmos Studio and sold through Powered by People. The form abstracts the human figure — the curve of a hip, the turn of a shoulder — in hand-thrown fine ceramic with a matte surface, and the interior is glazed so it holds water. People use it on an altar, a windowsill or a shelf, filled with dried stems or left empty, where it reads as a sculpture rather than a container. It is priced at $231.95. Each piece is shaped by hand, so no two are identical and small irregularities are part of the object; it should be rinsed with warm water and kept out of the dishwasher.
