Labradorite only shows itself at an angle. Straight on it is a grey stone; turn your wrist and a sheet of blue or green comes up out of it and disappears again. It is the least showy stone in the case until it moves.
This cuff sets a single octagonal labradorite, 24 x 30 mm, on an open bangle in gold or silver plate. In crystal lore labradorite is the stone of intuition and courage — the one traditionally reached for when you need to say the true thing rather than the easy one.
At a glance

How to use it
- Open cuff, so it slides on sideways — ease it over the narrowest part of the wrist rather than forcing it over the widest.
- Wear it on the hand you write with if you want to notice it. The flash catches every time you move.
- Take it off for water. This is plated metal over copper — showers, pools and cleaning products will shorten the life of the plating.
- Put it on last, after lotion and perfume, and wipe it with a dry soft cloth before it goes away.
- Store it dry and separate from other pieces so the stone does not get scratched.
✨ Temple Tip — turn it towards the window
Labradorite is a stone you have to work with to see. Hold it under a lamp or towards a window and rotate slowly — there is one angle where the whole face lights up. Find it once and you will always know how to wear the cuff so the flash faces out.
Questions we get asked
What size is the bangle?
What metal is it?
Can I wear it in water?
Why does the stone look different in different photos?
How heavy is it?
Turn your wrist and let the light do the rest. #TempleOfDesire
