How to use it
Cleanse your space and center yourself. Write your intention on the petition paper — for warding, name the place and the people in it.
Dress the pentacle candle with the included spiritual oil and set it on your altar or a heat-safe dish, with the petition paper underneath.
Sprinkle the three included herbs around the base, working in a circle rather than a line. Light the candle and speak the intention aloud.
Burn it while it is safe to do so. When the work is done, dispose of the remains respectfully. Full instructions are included.

Protection work is more effective when it is specific about what is being kept out. "Protect me" is a wide net; naming the situation, the pattern or the property line gives the ward an edge to hold.
Questions & answers
Do I need anything that is not in the box?
Only the everyday things: a heat-safe dish or holder, matches or a lighter, and a pen. The candle, herbs, oil and instructions are all included.
Do I have to be Wiccan to use this?
No. The pentacle is a symbol of the Wiccan faith and is used that way by many practitioners, but it long predates any modern tradition and is worked as a protective sign well outside one.
Which color should I choose?
Match the color to your intention rather than to the object — the table above lists what each of the ten is traditionally worked for. White is the all-purpose choice if you are unsure.
Is there anything I should know about burning the candle?
Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from anything flammable, and burn it on a heat-safe surface out of reach of children and pets. The candles are 100% pure beeswax with lead-free cotton wicks and no added fragrance.
