Flower agate earns its name honestly. Inside the soft pink stone are pale plumes that fan out exactly like blossom caught mid-opening — not a pattern someone applied, but chalcedony that grew that way. Polished into a tower, those plumes run vertically and the whole piece reads like a stem.

This one stands between 3.25 and 4 inches at 65 to 100 grams — small enough for a bedside table or a desk corner, large enough to be the thing your eye goes to. It comes from Brazil, and because the plumes are natural, no two towers are remotely alike.

At a Glance

How to Use It

Towers are directional stones, and the traditional way to use one is to give it something to point at.

  1. Choose the tower for the room you actually spend time in, not the prettiest shelf.
  2. Stand it where you will see it from your usual seat — the point should be in your eyeline, not above it.
  3. Name one thing you are growing at the moment: a project, a habit, a recovery. Say it once when you place it.
  4. Come back to it weekly and check whether the answer has changed. Update it out loud if it has.
  5. Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Agate is durable, but polished faces mark with grit.

Where a Small Tower Works

Setting Why
Bedside First and last thing seen; suits a soft stone
Desk corner In eyeline without occupying the working space
Altar A clear vertical among rounder shapes
Windowsill The plumes brighten considerably in daylight

✨ Temple Tip

Flower agate is at its best under warm light and at close range. On a high shelf across the room the plumes disappear and you just have a pink stone — keep it within arm’s reach and it stays interesting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How tall is the tower?

Between 3.25 and 4 inches, weighing 65–100 g.

Where is it from?

Brazil.

What causes the flower pattern?

Natural inclusions that grew in plume formations within the chalcedony — nothing is added or applied.

Will mine look exactly like the photograph?

In differences lies beauty. Every piece is natural and hand-selected, so colour, pattern and size vary a little from the photograph.

Does it stand on its own?

Yes — the base is cut flat, so it stands without a support.

How quickly does it ship?

Ships within 3 business days, wrapped for protection.
