How to use it
Dip, level the powder off against the rim of the tin, and tip it into your cup or bowl. Levelling matters more than it sounds — a heaped scoop and a level scoop are not close to the same amount of matcha.
Keep the spoon dry and store it with the tin rather than in a drawer of wet cutlery. Matcha clumps the moment moisture reaches it, and a damp spoon returned to the tin will do that for the whole container.
Getting the ratio right
| Blend |
Suggested amount |
Liquid |
| Unsweetened Matcha Latte |
½ teaspoon |
Warm water, then milk or hot water |
| Vanilla Matcha Latte |
1½ teaspoons |
Warm water, then milk or hot water |
| Mango Matcha Latte |
To taste |
Warm water, then milk over ice |
✨ Temple Tip
Never put a wet spoon back in the tin. It is the single most common reason a good tin of matcha turns lumpy halfway through — wipe it dry first, every time.
