The most common way to waste this set is to save it for a special occasion that never arrives. Four tealights is deliberately not many — spend one this week on something ordinary you have been putting off, and you will learn more about how you work than a whole shelf of unlit candles ever teaches.
Questions we get asked
How long does each tealight burn?
A few hours — the usual life of a tealight. They are built for one sitting rather than for a continuous seven-day working. If you want a week-long burn, a 7-day glass candle is the right format.
Do I need to dress or prepare them myself?
No. They arrive already dressed with botanicals and carnelian and are ready to light. If your practice includes anointing, a drop of ritual oil on the wax is optional rather than necessary.
What is the difference between this and the Freyja set?
Shakti is an opening set — used before creative or outward-facing work. Freyja is a daily-offering set for regular altar devotion. Different jobs, same format.
Can I use them indoors around pets?
Burn them in a holder, in sight, and away from anywhere a tail can reach. Loose botanicals on the wax and curious animals are a poor combination.
What do I do with the carnelian afterward?
Keep it. Many practitioners carry a chip in a pocket or bag as a continuation of the session rather than putting it away with the spent wax.
