How to use it

Set the disk in a heat-proof burner or a bowl of sand. These get hot all the way through.

A shallow dish of sand under a charcoal disk solves three problems at once: it insulates the surface underneath, it stops the disk sliding, and it gives you somewhere to bury the ember when you want to stop early. A handful of builders sand in a ceramic bowl outperforms most purpose-made burners.

Which scent should I start with?
Palo santo or lavender are the easiest to live with indoors. Rue and white sage are the more assertive cleansing scents.
Do I need a special burner?
A heat-proof burner or a bowl of sand. The disk burns hot right through, so nothing wooden, painted or thin-walled.
Can I return it?
No. Incense is a consumable and this item is non-returnable. If something arrives damaged, write to us and we will make it right.
