How to use it
Light the wand at the leafier end and blow the flame out so the bundle smolders.
Waft the smoke around the space — often with a feather — or set the burning wand on a safe, heat-resistant surface such as an abalone or Lion's Paw shell.
To cleanse stones or jewelry, hold each piece steadily in the smoke until it flows in a straight stream upward after circling the piece.
Never leave a burning bundle unattended. Make sure it is completely extinguished before you leave the room, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable. Smudge responsibly, or with adult supervision.

Frequently asked questions
When should I smudge?
Whenever you want to rebalance limiting mental patterns or heavy emotions such as fear, anger or grief, or to release energy that no longer serves your deepest purpose.
What is dragon's blood?
In this bundle it is a sage treated with dragon's blood resin, traditionally used as an activator that powers up whatever it is combined with.
Can I use it to honor someone who has died?
Blue sage is traditionally burned for exactly that. Many people light this bundle on anniversaries and remembrance days.
Which end do I light?
Light the end with the fewest bare stems — the leafier end catches and smolders more reliably.
Any precautions?
We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing or on medication. Never leave a burning bundle unattended. Make sure it is completely extinguished before you leave the room, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable.
